Privacy Policy

Hartii Games is a skill-based arcade on the Quai Network. We are built to collect as little about you as technically possible. There is no account to create, no email required, and no advertising.

The short version

• We set no cookies at all. None.
• We run no analytics, no advertising, no cross-site trackers, and no fingerprinting — not even a cookieless traffic counter.
• We never take custody of your wallet, keys, or funds. Ranked entries and prizes move directly between you and public smart contracts.

What we store, and where

In your browser only

Your device keeps small preferences in local storage. This never leaves your device and is not sent to us: your mute/audio setting, a referral code if you arrived from a referral link, and short-lived "you've seen this" flags. Clear your browser's site data to remove all of it.

On our servers (Cloudflare)

We run a thin edge layer (Cloudflare Pages Functions + KV storage) with minimal data:

• Leaderboard scores — when you submit a score with a wallet connected, we store your public wallet address, the score, and the game/board so it can be ranked. Leaderboards are public by design.
• Run replays — the sequence of inputs for a submitted run is stored so any score can be re-simulated and verified. Replays are public and watchable; they contain no personal data beyond the public wallet address.
• Usernames — only if you choose to claim one. A username is a public, wallet-signed label shown on leaderboards; it is opt-in and public by design.
• Progress counters — XP, daily-attempt flags, and HARTII reward accrual, keyed to your public wallet address.
• Abuse rate-limiting — for actions like score submission we briefly use your IP address solely to prevent spam. These entries are short-lived, auto-expire, and are never used to profile you.
• The document vault (optional) — if you use the Hartii Biome vault to pin a text file, that file is compressed and stored on IPFS, which is public and permanent. Only upload things you intend to share publicly. We store the content address (CID) against your wallet.

No analytics

We do not run any analytics or measurement tool — no Google Analytics, no Plausible, and not even a cookieless traffic counter. We do not count, profile, or track visits.

Your wallet address

When you connect a wallet (e.g. Pelagus), your public address is used to attribute your scores, progress, and any ranked entries. We do not link it to your real-world identity, and you can browse and play free without connecting a wallet — you just won't appear on leaderboards.

Third parties

• The Quai blockchain — ranked entries, prize claims, and cosmetics are public on-chain transactions, visible to anyone, permanently. This is inherent to a blockchain and outside our control.
• IPFS / Pinata — used to store vault documents and load cosmetic art. Content on IPFS is public and content-addressed.
• Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and DDoS protection. Cloudflare processes visitor IPs transiently to serve and protect the site per its privacy policy.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or data brokers. We have nothing to sell.

Your choices

• Clear your browser's site data to remove locally-stored preferences.
• Play free without connecting a wallet, and no address is read.
• Don't claim a username, and nothing public is stored about you.
• Don't use the vault if you'd rather not put a file on public IPFS.

Children

Hartii Games is not directed at anyone under 18.
